Squadhelp was founded in 2011 as a crowdsourcing platform that helps companies name their business or create new logos.
Squadhelp holds contests that reward the winning entrant with a payment, though the contest holder can up the ante if they feel the need.
Once your contest is live, creatives can submit ideas and receive real-time feedback from you. This particular service encourages you, or any contest holder, to rank each submission on a scale of very happy smiley face to very sad frowny.
You can tag each rejected idea with additional feedback like “too generic,” or “not a good fit for us,” with the hopes that ‘the crowd’ will refine their ideas and produce better results.
Creatives compete within a specific contest but they also appear on a leaderboard. The idea of the leaderboard is to encourage continued, high-quality participation.
